Trstdly - Prescription dive masks and diving glasses have a long history of aiding underwater visibility. Dating back to the 14th century, Persians crafted early diving goggles from layers of tortoise shells, setting the stage for ongoing innovations in underwater eyewear. Over time, these underwater glasses have evolved, primarily relying on a single lens to shield the eyes from direct water contact. However, individuals with vision impairments have often faced the challenge of needing multifocal lenses to enjoy underwater activities.

Traditionally, multifocal or bifocal lenses were affixed to diving masks and eyeglass frames to accommodate swimmers with plus or minus vision. However, recent developments have introduced a groundbreaking solution: removable underwater reading glasses.

This innovative approach marks a significant advancement in the world of underwater optics, offering enhanced clarity to swimmers beneath the surface. Dutch startup SeeDeep Diving Optics proudly presents "SeeDeep," the world's first underwater diving goggles designed to be worn atop a diving mask with a convenient rubber head strap.

Many middle-aged divers have grappled with the discomfort of squinting underwater, as conventional masks and diving goggles often fail to provide clear vision for those with nearsightedness or farsightedness. The introduction of reading lenses now addresses this common challenge, presenting a practical solution for underwater enthusiasts.

These underwater reading glasses are meticulously crafted from scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses, ensuring durability and longevity. They are available in various magnification powers, including +1, +1.5, +2.0, and +2.5, catering to divers with diverse vision needs. The lenses are seamlessly held together by a sturdy metal nose cap and securely attached to the head strap through metal end pieces on either side.

SeeDeep Diving Optics has ushered in a new era of underwater clarity, revolutionizing the way divers of all vision types experience the mesmerizing world beneath the waves. With prescription dive masks and diving glasses like SeeDeep, underwater exploration becomes more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.
