Typically, scuba divers with farsighted vision have limited options, either acquiring a specialized prescription dive mask or attaching adhesive magnifying lenses to their existing mask. However, there's a game-changing alternative on the horizon: removable underwater reading glasses, commonly known as prescription dive masks and diving glasses.

Currently featured in an Indiegogo campaign, these innovative SeeDeep glasses are the brainchild of Dutch startup SeeDeep Diving Optics. These cutting-edge prescription dive masks and diving glasses are designed to be worn atop a diver's standard third-party mask, firmly secured in place by an adaptable rubber head strap.

At the core of these remarkable diving glasses are scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses, available in various magnification strengths, including +1, +1.25 +1.5, +1.75 +2.0, +2.5 and +3.0.

These lenses are seamlessly interconnected by a robust metal nosepiece and skillfully attached to the head strap using metal end pieces on either side. For added stability, the glasses incorporate grippy silicone pads on their rear side, preventing unwanted slippage against the mask.

What sets these prescription dive masks and diving glasses apart is their versatility. Divers have the freedom to adjust them up or down on the mask as needed, ensuring optimal vision enhancement without constraints. This adaptability caters to the unique vision requirements of each diver, offering a convenient and practical alternative to traditional prescription dive masks and adhesive lenses.

With SeeDeep's prescription dive masks and diving glasses, underwater enthusiasts can now enjoy enhanced clarity without the need for specialized masks, making underwater exploration more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.

The innovative concept behind these diving glasses is to provide users with the flexibility to adapt their underwater vision according to their specific dive conditions. Unlike pricier prescription masks or adhesive lenses, these versatile glasses offer divers the freedom to choose when and how they use them.

On dives where constant close-up observations, such as coral heads, aren't required, users can easily bring the glasses along but keep them off most of the time. This approach ensures an unobstructed far field of view, enhancing the overall diving experience.

Alternatively, users have the option to wear the glasses throughout the entire dive, employing them only when necessary for precise vision.

The SeeDeep glasses come in three distinct models: Standard, Premium, and the exclusive Limited Edition. Each model features metal components made of different materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium, respectively. Pledge options are available, starting at $75 for the Standard model and going up to $151 for the Exclusive edition.

If all goes as planned, these remarkable underwater eyewear solutions should be ready for shipping by the following August.
